Besides using the GO button to proceed to a web address, the GO button may also be used to begin an internet search. Simply highlight the search words in either the main or keyword windows and click GO.
You may now print either all or a selected group of the results of a search.
New for EZgatherX Version 1.2 ---
New for EZgather! Version 3.2
You may now print and export multiple records from the search window, without having to open them. Simply select the records and click either "Export Records" or "Print Records". You will be prompted at the end of each record so that you may cancel the process at any time.
Beginning with version 3.2 for the Mac, only PowerMacs will be supported with new features. EZgather version 3.1 for 68k Macs will remain available for download but will no longer be upgraded.

New for EZgather! Version 3.1
You may now pause and resume a search in progress. You will be able to see the results of the search as it scrolls by. In the Mac Version 3.1 only, you will have to return the scoll indicator back to the top of the window before continuing your search. This will enable you to continue to view the results as they scroll by. With EZgatherpc Version 3.1 and EZgatherX Version 1.1 this function will be handled automatically by the program. EZgatherpc Version 3.1 now incorporates the enhanced viewing options previously available on the Mac Version 3.0.

You may now interrupt a search in progress. All matching items up to that point will be displayed.
Take control of your viewing. You may now select different type styles and sizes in the display window. This will also affect the size of the type displayed in the search window.
EZgather! remembers the window size you select for viewing. This information is stored with the datafile, so you may have different settings for different files. These settings do not affect printing.
New for Version 2.5
EZgather! Version 2.5 has improved search capabilites.
Searches are now three times faster than before.
When you open a record after a search the window now scrolls to and highlights the search word.
You may also search within an open record using ( command f ) on a Mac and ( control f ) on a PC. This feature is also available from the edit menu.
EZgather! now accepts longer file names for data files.
New for Version 2.0
EZgather! Version 2.0 has a undergone a number of improvements in response to user feedback. Data files created with earlier versions of EZgather! are completely compatible. Below is a list of the changes. Print directly from EZgather! No need to export the text first!
Store a web address to go along with the text in the main window. If you save a web address, then you may use the GO button to open your browser and proceed to that address.
Improved listing of record numbers. All numbers are now available in sequential order. DELETE record has been changed to CLEAR SCREEN. This allows all record numbers to remain in use but provides a convenient method of clearing the text from the screen prior to updating or saving a record! Progress bar for searches. You now get an accurate timing of your search, so that you will know that the program is still operating and how much longer the search is likely to take. EZgather! no longer does an automatic backup of the data file when you close the program. You may still make a manual backup whenever you wish. This change will save time and disk space by not making so many copies of the file. The naming of the backup file has been improved to make it easier to determine which file is the most recent. EZgather! no longer adds the date saved and updated to the end of records. This feature was viewed as unnecessary and was eliminated. This information is still available when the record is displayed in the search window.
